Trip to Tanjung Malim

On the 10th of October, i went to Tanjung Malim to take a look at my friend's fruit orchard, it's around 1 hour drive from Wangsa Maju. It's relatively new and the size is around 2-acres, the land is quite wavy. There's is a small well around 5 feet in diameter to water the trees. He planted many kind of fruit including mango, mangosteen and 2 types of durian d24 and durian udang merah. Can't wait for it to fruit within 6 years.

Humble beginning

As i went to RM2 shop in Melawati to find decorative materials for my tuition, i stumble to some agro appliances. I end up buying pots, soil, fertilizer and some seeds of chili, tomato, cucumber, coriander. Yesterday, i started to plant.

Well it' a humble beginning, but I hve to start somewhere.

1st post.

Last week, I went to a relative house in Seremban for Eid Fitr celebration. I met Pak Ngah Ishak who is a modest owner of few acres of rubber, rambutan and durian trees.

I don't know i got such interests when he started talking about the agricultural life that he has after the retirement.

I told him my dad got a small square feet of land in his house at Bkt.Beruntung, he told me " why you let the land go wasted without being planted with anything?" "Well, what do you think i should d with it?" i asked. He answeres" Why don't you try to plant something that's doesn't take a lot of time to produce fruits, like Rambutan or Mangoes?"

What a great idea, why don't i think of that before? . . . . .

My quest begins . . . . . . . . . . . . .
